Where is my data?

On your Mac only, in ~/Library/Containers/com.anshulkumar.kanbeat/. Kanbeat has no account and no server.

How do I back up my board, or move it to another Mac?

Kanbeat backs your board up on launch and once a day, and keeps the last 14. To make one now, choose Settings → Data → Back up now. To move it to another Mac, copy that backup across, open Kanbeat there, choose Settings → Data → Restore from a file…, and pick it.

How do I export my work?

Settings → Data → Export json, Export csv or Export markdown saves your work as a file you can open elsewhere.

How do I connect Claude Code or Codex?

Settings → Agents → Continue, then Allow when macOS shows your home folder, then Connect beside the tool. The agent reaches your board while Kanbeat is open; closing the window keeps Kanbeat running in the menu bar. The Usage Guide, in the sidebar, walks through it.

Is there a keyboard shortcut list?

Help → Keyboard Shortcuts, inside the app.
